Do you enjoy working with animals? If so, consider career training in Southern Technical College’s Veterinary Assisting Diploma program. This program is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment as an assistant to a Veterinarian or Veterinary Technician.
Learn about animal care education; preparation of exam rooms; assisting in filling prescriptions and setting up lab work; helping with nursing and animal care; and learn front desk tasks such as customer service and clerical responsibilities. Finish in as fast as 10 months. Graduates are eligible to take the Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) exam.
